Bullet Train Milestone: Vapi Station Structure Officially Complete

The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor has hit a new milestone with the completion of major structural works at the Vapi high-speed rail station. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) confirmed that rail and platform-level slab casting are now finished, with roof sheeting, structural steel erection, and electrical installations currently underway.

Spanning 28,917 square meters and standing 22 meters tall, the Dungra village-based station will feature modern passenger amenities, including a business-class lounge. While the approach viaduct heading toward Ahmedabad is fully complete, work on the Mumbai-bound viaduct is progressing steadily. Strategically located, the station sits within 7.5 km of Vapi's main railway junction and bus stop, and just 5 km from the GIDC industrial hub, ensuring seamless transit for both commuters and businesses.
